You’re Invited: Affordable Housing Report Card Online Event

The Community Builders Network of Metro St. Louis has invited STL DSA members to attend its Affordable Housing Report Card for St. Louis event on Thursday, December 16, at 7 pm.

Register here to attend the online event about the state of affordable housing in our area. The program will include a discussion of ways to improve access to affordable housing in the region. Registration is required to attend. Once you register, you’ll receive Zoom info via email.

Demand a People First Budget in 2021!

For decades, the working class, poor, and people of color have long suffered the effects of austerity and cuts to public services while the wealthy have gotten richer and more powerful. In order to pass a People First Budget, St. Louis DSA demands the following of local politician: - NO cuts to public services EXCEPT police and jails. - Veto or vote no on ANY legislation that privatizes a publicly owned utility or asset -- selling OR leasing. - Support legislation that protects publicly owned utilities and assets.
