2021 DSA Convention Results!

Aug. 9, 2021

After a week of deliberation and discussion with over 1,300 other socialists, the 2021 DSA National Convention has come to a close. This, of course, hardly means the fight is over! Delegates committed to continuing our priority campaigns for a Green New Deal and Medicare for All; reaffirmed our strategy of organizing in both the Labor and Electoral arenas (as well as a new national-level campaign committed to Voting Rights!); passed important organizational resolutions to grow our numbers well past 100,000 into a movement truly representative of the multi-racial working class; and we elected a slate of new leaders, the National Political Committee (NPC), to guide our work until next convention:

In the coming weeks, before our September General Meeting, we will be refining and developing these into chapter priorities. You can help us begin these plans—just stay tuned to these weekly emails to learn more! Finally, if you have not yet, please JOIN us in becoming not just the largest socialist movement in this country, but a powerful and unstoppable force committed to transforming the world into a more just and better place to live.
