This Sunday: SNS on Conspiracy Theories in the United States

The Political Education Committee is hosting the final Socialist Night School class of the year. We’ll be discussing conspiracy theories in the United States, going over individual theories as a group and understanding how these theories have shaped culture and behaviors.

No readings are required for this class. Attendees are encouraged to bring some of their favorite conspiracy theories to share.

This session will take place this Sunday, October 29. We’ll meet at 4 pm at Trinity Episcopal Church. Find additional details on the RSVP page.

RSVP for Walking Tours: The Hidden History of Forest Park

The Political Education Committee is proud to present the next iteration of our field trips. This time, we’ll be spending an afternoon in the park! Enjoy a guided tour (provided by the Missouri Historical Society) of the lesser known histories of Forest Park landmarks. The guide will explain why these landmarks are not as often known or discussed.

We’ll meet at 12:45 pm this Saturday, Nov. 4 at the Dennis and Judith Jones Visitor and Education Center (5595 Grand Dr.). Find additional details on the RSVP page.

Next Workplace Organizing Training Session This Thursday, Nov. 2

Hate your job? Don't quit, organize! Join St. Louis DSA's Labor Committee as we learn together from union organizers how to organize with our coworkers to build power and make our jobs suck less.

Whether you want to organize your own workplace, are currently a union member but want to build a stronger fighting union, or want to help others organize theirs (or all three!), join us for this four-part series. Help us build a powerful working class that can change the world!

The first session is this Thursday, October 26. It’s a hybrid meeting, which means you can attend in-person (at Trinity Episcopal Church) or via Zoom.

This is open to all (being a DSA member is not necessary to join).
